Where do you see patients?

Redefined Wellness Co currently provides 1:1 care to patients who are physically located in Texas at the time of their visit. Telehealth availability is based on Texas licensure and applicable state requirements. However, new state's are coming soon. 
 

How much does care cost?

Transparency is important to us. Current pricing for memberships, visits, and services is listed throughout our website and is subject to change.
 

Membership pricing is established at the time of enrollment and remains in effect for the contracted membership term.
 

Labs, medications, and certain additional services are separate from membership or visit fees unless specifically stated otherwise. 
 

Do you accept insurance?

Redefined Wellness Co is a self-pay practice and does not participate with insurance plans or submit medical claims on your behalf.
 

We do accept HSA and FSA payments for eligible services.
 

Some laboratory testing may be billed through your insurance depending on the laboratory, your plan, and your individual benefits. Insurance coverage and payment are ultimately determined by your insurance carrier.
 

Do you accept Medicare or Medicaid?

Redefined Wellness Co does not participate with Medicare or Medicaid and does not submit claims to these programs for reimbursement.
 

Do you offer telehealth?

Yes. Telehealth appointments are available for eligible patients located in Texas at the time of their visit.
 

Do you see children?

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Redefined Wellness Co currently focuses on patients 13 and up.
 

What is functional medicine?

Functional medicine takes a comprehensive approach to health by looking beyond individual symptoms and considering the interconnected factors that influence how the body functions, including metabolic health, hormones, nutrition, lifestyle, inflammation, and other underlying contributors.
 

Our approach is evidence informed and may incorporate both conventional medical treatment and functional strategies when appropriate.
 

Can you prescribe medications?

Yes. Khristy S., FNP-C, is licensed to prescribe medications when clinically appropriate.
 

Functional medicine does not mean avoiding conventional medicine. Medications, supplements, lifestyle strategies, and other therapies may all have a place in an individualized plan based on your health, goals, and clinical needs.
 

Will I see results right away?

Every patient and health concern is different. The timeline for improvement depends on your individual health, the factors contributing to your symptoms, your treatment plan, and your participation in the process.
 

Some changes may be noticeable relatively quickly, while others require more time and consistent follow through. Our goal is to build a thoughtful plan that addresses your health over time rather than relying on a quick fix.
 

Will Redefined Wellness Co be my primary care provider?

No. Redefined Wellness Co is not a primary care practice and does not replace your PCP or other established medical providers.
 

We provide foundational, functional care alongside your existing healthcare team. You should maintain an established primary care provider for routine primary care, preventive care, acute concerns, and other needs outside the scope of Redefined Wellness Co.
 

We do not provide emergency care.
 

Are labs included?

Laboratory testing is not automatically included unless specifically stated as part of your program or visit.
 

When labs are recommended, we may use established laboratory providers and can help guide appropriate testing.
Some labs may be eligible for insurance billing, while others may be available through discounted self-pay options.
 

Are medications included in my membership?

Medication costs are separate unless specifically stated otherwise as part of a program.
 

Any prescribed medication is determined based on your individual clinical needs, and pharmacy costs are billed separately.
 

Do I have to become a member to see you?

Not necessarily. Redefined Wellness Co offers both membership-based care and select individual services and visits.

The best starting point depends on your goals, health needs, and the level of ongoing support you're looking for.
