FAQ

In what state(s) do you see patients?
-Currently, I can see 1:1 patients that reside in Colorado or Texas OR are in Texas or Colorado during their virtual visit. I will be licensed in other US states soon. I do provide group nurse coaching for clients throughout the USA and have worldwide educational programs.

Do you accept insurance?

-I do not accept insurance. However, I do accept HSA/FSA in addition to cash, credit, debit. Some educational programs are set up with the option for pay overtime programs. I are hoping that insurance companies will recognize functional medicine as a priority treatment option in the future. You may be able to use your insurance for lab work/lab testing- but that will be up to you to submit to your insurance company.

Do you see children?

-At this time I see patients 10 and up.

How is functional medicine different from traditional medicine?
-Unlike traditional medicine, which typically focuses on symptom management through medications or surgeries, functional medicine aims to identify and address the root causes of health issues. By taking a holistic approach, it prioritizes long-term wellness and prevention rather than merely managing disease. Many of our patients find this proactive investment in their health both transformative and invaluable.

Can you prescribe medications?
-Absolutely & I believe functional medicine works well with western medicine. I love the mix of allopathic are with the body's own ability to transform.

When will I see results?
-The timeline for seeing results with functional medicine can vary based on the complexity of your health concerns, your adherence to the treatment plan, and other individual factors. While some patients may notice improvements in their symptoms sooner, achieving lasting wellness typically requires continued dedication and patience.
